Of Brazilian heritage, this superbly talented bassist de Toledo combines the influences of his cultural roots, his passion for Cuban music, and his dedication to the jazz tradition to create a refreshing sound and to bring a Rubim is well known as a founding member of respected Latin-Jazz group Bomba and is currently leading the new with group Caravan, featuring many former members of Bomba.
